Hi everyone, I just finished installing an NME 2.0 in my Benq Xbox 360 Elite.  I put a backup disc in but the xbox just reads it as a normal DVD.  I am wondering if there is a way to tell if the NME is installed properly and working.  Is there an LED on the chip itself?  Also I wired it into the frontpanel of the xbox but I am not sure what that is really for, is a light supposed to come on if its installed and working properly?

Thanks for any assistance ahead of time!

I may be wrong, but is there a connection to the front pannel because you need to hold the power button for 1 sec to activate the chip on benq drives?

I actually got it all working... the problem had to do with the way I was burning my backups.  I do have 2 wires running to the front panel.  Also Have 2 wires from the back where the USB and Network connections are at.  Then there are the 4 connections within the drive itself.  I installed my chip on the outside of the drive on top of it.  I used a dremmel to cut a slot in the back of the drive case to allow the wires to exit without a problem.

Its all working great now!

"Q" is the switch to turn on NME2 with a  BQ and the rear one turns the LED off, thus there is 2 wires to the front panel
