Like alot of others here I chipped my two origional xboxs and my brothers. I just got my first 360(Elite) a few weeks ago and wound up with a Hitachi 79FL Drive(Model:GDR-3120L). Since my only options were get a Passkey or Chip I decided to spend a little more & get a NME V2.0. Everything was going fine till I realized the GND connection point shown in the pics on the Underdog website Hitachi drive install page wasn't in the same place on my drives board.
According to the instructions the GND point should be just to the left of the point on my board marked TP807(if board is oriented same way as in the install pic) but there is not a point in that area. If anyone has installed a NME V2.0 on one of these apparently newer Hitachi 79FL Drive boards I would really appriciate it if you could tell me where to connect the GND wire. I think the boards version is JD5X-1 2006/03/08Thanks in advance for any advice.
