That will work yes, but I recommend getting a blaster 360 over a xeno top gear, runs off PC power, no lugging the cables all over, and looks nicer too, also A LOT higher quality. The blaster 360 is $69 I believe over at divineo.

i've heard that the blaster360 is a bitch to install, and there a lot of problems with it. I'd say stick with the top gear (plus it  has shiny LED's! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

If you heard it's a 'bitch' to install, well you probably got the advice from a retard. The xeno top-gear and the blaster 360 pretty much have 'identical' installs, and simply because Xeno can't do anything thereself and just thrives on making cheap downgrade copies of Xecuters work. With either product you could have a problem, mostly solely the customers problem though through bad install or whatnot.

Blaster 360 has leds too, just because something is 'shinier' doesn't mean that's the way to go.

Well in my opinion quality isn't any different my friend has the blaster and I have the xeno top gear. Xeno has a cool sata 360's hdd feature. I understand blaster was here first and it has an external power source but that really doesn't matter because 360's power source will work fine. I do know that Xecuter has been around along time have engineered great products. But on this case xeno wins because in my opinion I think the xecuter team are cheapskate's and I think it is about time they got some competition.
