I just recently got my hands on the Xeno top gear firmware flasher. This product is almost a replicable of the blaster 360 which xecuter made. Heres my list of pros and cons

  Pro's                                                                         Con's
  -Alot more cheaper than the blaster 360 and                 -No mode b switch which means your gonna have

Xbox 360 with Xtreme 5.3!!! MS 28 drive!!!

I just bought Xeno top gear LED from Divineo.com


I installed it right way as video ...was easy. But at first my computer used to freeze at start up and in the regular processes.
Only I can use the the hard drive by this product. I did backup my hdd by Xeno top gear LED. But no luck on DVD.

I had Fw updated before (5.3)and backed up games by manual connection.

IS something  wrong with this product?

What you will have to do is put your 360 drive into 0800 mode, the same mode that is used to backup games onto your computer, you can do this by downloading the 0800 disc (Xbins) and putting it into your 360 disc drive. After doing this you should be able to see your 360 drive on ur computer again.

Guys I am a total noob so bare with with me please. 1st off I have a Hitachi drive when I open my tray. When I see the on-line guide I see a red wire connected to it and was wondering where does it plug into the PC. I have a ASUS P5B Deluxe WiFi motherboard. Is there anything else I need to buy? Am I good to go if I buy this product or there are better ways to mod my 360? Thanks.

Well since you admit to being a noob, I would go with this product if you want to flash your drive.  But me?  I prefer modchips: more straightforward and easier in my opinion.
