E76 Error Code Help
« on: April 19, 2007, 10:02:00 PM »

Hey guys,
I just installed my NME v1.2 on my hitachi v.0046DH. And I'm getting a E76 error when the xbox boots up. I do not have the network or the reset part on the chip hooked up. I have read other occurences of this problem on this and other forums and a quick fix is to desolder the network lead from the chip and it works. Is there another fix that im missing or there still isn't a sure fire way to fix this?

The updated network cutoff point is useless. I tried using that and my customer's box is getting E76 error with or without back ups in there. F'ing excrutiating. WTF. I tested it before I added the external switch I put in that's why I slapped it back together. I thought underdog would've tested that new point to ensure no problems....but I guess they didnt do a thorough test. The team is beginning to piss me off. The coil fix on main page is either unintentionally grouped with the network fix. So, they're saying that if you get E76 error you should move 470 coil off the original point and put on the 5vt???? I was told that if the backups don't work then you're suppossed to move the coil? Who knows? Is this for hitachi or samsung?

I have a quick and easy solution for you to try:

Throw out the damn NME and buy a Xeno-360!

Sorry, but Im tired of hearing so much crap about the NME V1.2, and I installed a Xeno and it works flawlessly on my Hitachi 59.
