I have several PSX backups in .img format, that I wish to convert to .bin so that I can use them on PCSXBOX. any idea which prog will do the job? i tried using winiso last night, but it didnt seem to work, the games didnt run. would it be worth burning the images regularly, then just taking them back into iso from from the cd? <

Pcsxbox does support .img format.
I play lots of ps games in this format without any problem. <

rudemood12: gi stands for global image and it is an image format. You can use
the windows program isobuster to extract it (http://www.isobuster.com/). <

A nice way to also deal with image files is to use daemon tools (google). You can create a virtual cd/dvd drive and mount the image to it, and convert it to the needed format without hassling with extracting. <
