You know how you load a Sega CD game, it has that cool intro with earth and the moon and backround music? Well, is there a way to get the original one on there? I believe this current intro is from the smaller Sega CD system. The original Sega CD,(the one that's the about the same size as the genesis) has the best inro and music. Is there a way to have the original intro instead?? if so, how would I go about doing that?

That would be in the bios. So i guess look for a bios of the old version 1 model.  <

Carcharius's Genesis emu Xenesis uses the older bios.  <

so i would just replace xports current bios with xnesis's sega cd bios, right? and if so, is there anything else i need to do? thank you.  <

I tried this and neogen crashed. Works with the bios it comes with. You might need to rename it or something, I didn't play around for long. But yeah, Xenesis does have the older bios, and you're right, it is cooler  <

Try renaming the xenesis ones after you copy them to the neogen folder, using the neogen names....the 32x bios names as the same for both, but the others are not.....it might be looking for a certain filename....  <

hmm i tried renaming like u said, but I keep getting the MEGA CD intro, which is gay I think. Also, in order for the MEGA CD intro to load, I have to set my SEGA CD game to Europe region, if it's auto detect it won't work. Plus, Neogenesis looks to have 4 CD bios, while Xenesis has 3 CD bios. I'm still stuck. *sigh* Me want cool intro!!! :lol:  lol  <

No offense to all your hard work, but I like Xports better. Infact, all the classic systems on my xbox are all Xport emulators. Nothing against you. I just wish his Sega CD emu had that cool original intro like your xenesis does.  <

I tried this out weeks ago because I too liked the loading screen of the Sega CD 1 much better and it worked for me and does still with the actual version.
In the folder "bios" just delete (or rename the bios scd2_200.bin that is normaly used. Then rename the bios scd_110.bin in scd2_200.bin and when you now start a US-Sega CD game there should appear the loading intro of the Sega CD 1 (the big one with the front loader

I just wish, there would be a way to watch this a little longer, because the intro is allways skipped very fast automatically. I really liked watching the Sega and Sega CD logo moving over the screen in so many funny ways with the cool music...  <

Hey thanks for the tip, i'll try that out. And I feel the same way about the intro, wishing it would stay on longer, I'm one of those people that like to watch that as well!! Nice to know i'm not the only one!!    Thank You!

actually, i'm reading this over again, and i'm a little confused? am i deleting scd2_200, and am I renaming scd_100 to scd2_200???  if you could, just pick one scenario for me, either renaming or deleting, doesn't matter to me. Thanks again!

EDIT: Got it working!!! Awesome!!! Now, heh, hope someone finds a way for the intro to last longer. I think it shouldn't automaticly load from that screen. If you want the game to play, you should decide when to press START. *crossing fingers*
