i just installed an nme 1.1 on my new xbox 360. it has the hitachi 59dj drive. the reason i went with a 1.1 is there are only 5 wires to solder, and the most important, it works flawlessly (unlike the 1.2). i have used verbatim, sony and memorex media. all work fine. i have to thank the people who have helped with info on this board, especialy ydgmms for his excellent tuturial. thanks everybody! now to get back to gaming.
