TECHNICAL SUPPORT!!
-- I'm having a weird problem w/ my nme v1.1 chip. I have been playing backups just fine (30+ titles). I got the ripping, merging and burning down great -- but yesterday the chip just stopped working...
I can boot orginals just fine -- but all my backups will not boot (white screen - put in 360 message)
I got the system premodded ~ so I'm not really familiar with the set-up. (IMG:
style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I now have the 360 disassembled -- and found wire not attached to anything. Here goes explaining ~ it's the yellow wire in a grouping of yellow, black and red (the black and red both go to the hard drive port)
The yellow that is not attached is soldered to the #10 spot (of 11) on the v1.1 chip. It has been reduced down to a smaller green wire -- which I'm supposing used to be hot-glued to the motherboard somewhere???
Anyone put up a more detailed walk through or better shots of the points other than what UNDERDOG has put on thier site? I know I'm not much help and it's not your job to trouble shoot for me -- just if your up for the challenge, or know the set-up really well. Thanks!
