Error Code 65 With Mne 1.2

If I only remove the A wire, it boots like a normal 360 and plays originals fine. When I resolder the A wire, I get E 65 message and the dvd wont open. No one else has had this problem or can help? How can I tell if its a bad chip, is there a light on the chip like the xecutors to tell you its working?
