For me flashing it was harder than to install it.. Ive got huge problems with it as well,,

E64, eject doesnt work, modchip off worked but I flashed it through programmer, and now it doesnt work, always eject faulty and E64, I think Ive done the install right, its just the flashing which is the problem here  tongue.gif

help?!

and shall the firmware be Encrypted or Decrypted? and can it be 512kb while flashing? or shall I split it up first.. the GLobe 360 firmware Ive downloaded is 512kb, and Globe 360 wont accept it..

=( Im so tired of this..

I down loaded the Firware loader for the Globe360 V2 and had to copy the ftd2xx.dll file into the same directory that the Globe_Flash.exe program is in, the program is running now, but I don't know if it is able to flash a chip without hitting another error....

Do you use the same bin files that you use for the V1 chip? If not, where can I find them?

Apprciate anyone who can help with this, I am very interested in getting this to go!

I'm exactly where you are in the flashing process.

Whatever I put on the chip it doesn't work. I put the original globe flash, ixtreme, xtreme 5.2 5.3 original etc.

Also, I cannot boot the system with orig flash on drive with the disable sequence (sync & power). NO GO! E64

I ripped the chip out as I thought I dammaged the mainboard and discovered that it works fine.

WTF! Globe sux for support. This chip is the best solution if did what it said it was going to do but as of now I don't recommend this chip.

I have the same problem. E64 and no eject.

Where do I get the flashfiles? Is it possible to use a clean Xtreme 5.3 ?
Is the chip taking backups out of the box ?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Forgive my English.

I have searched google and all the forums that I could find. No answers to the E64 error.

Thanks for a great answer

well an E64 can be numerous things, but first I would check to make sure you did a good job installing, because seeing as how you didn't flash the chip with anything I dont understand how else you could be getting an E64.
