lol you told him. I think because the Xbox is the most modded console of all time people are expecting the same with the xbox 360. Im amazed of how well microsoft have done, stumped most of the hackers out there and the ones that are finding ways around bits are having alot of difficulty. Its amazing stuff!

meh. so it's clear that we have people in the room that are opinionated on both sides of the issue. I admit I was being a little overzealous in my sarcasm... and apparently some feelings got hurt.
I already knew about hackers in XS contributing their own work, BUT it would be naive to say that team xecuter does not have their own team doing research and hacking, which results in a product produced by them, not just as a rumor on XS. Sure, XS ideas can come together for modchip manufs to capitalize on .(Why do you think there are so many flavors of modchip for xbox1?)

All of this is nice discussion

, but let's focus on the OP's intent of this topic.
Awareness needs to be raised regarding the development of a modchip that can do more than just FW mods.

Looks like the possible modchips out are going to be kernal chips, not bios like with the xbox. Its all getting abit PSPish for my liking lol! Hope some one cracks this thing!

I bet you now there is some half-rate company somewhere thinking of using that marketing strategy. Yeah, lets build a powerhouse and give the customers the ability to mod it easily! (seriously, i imagine some focus group somewhere has it on there papers)

Then again, that might just be the dumbest idea ever.
