Globe 360 + E66 + Advice Needed! :)
« on: December 01, 2006, 06:02:00 AM »

Ok here's my problem:

I've got a xbox 360 with a globe 360 modchip installed

3 Weeks Ago I was so stupid and updated my xbox (nov. update)

Then my xbox didn't boot anymore (E66 error)

I reflashed the globe 360 chip and the xbox works with the chip.

But (here's the part where i need help) when i try to boot without
the chip the E66 error still shows up.

Any advice / help is welcome (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanx

I dont get it.... isn't the chip suppoused to work online and offline? (when turned off of course) so the update shouldn't bother him right? all the posts about this chip seem to be from July and nothing after that.
Could you please spend 10 mins with me on the MSN giving me tips? I installed mine on Jan 12 and it never worked, error code E 64. Maybe I installed it right and there is something I'm missing, it's being re-installed right now. Please help.

Either an install error or an update error.  See, a while back, there were people getting the E66 and other errors after updating there consoles.  Those with chips that is (tho NME and Xeno users were not affected).

Best you can do is try to flash your drive maybe.  Just remove the Globe360 for now.  Also check that nothing is shorting out inside the DVD drive or any solder joints loose/popped.
