im also rather new to all this
i left the 360 right about the time it was hypothesized flashing the firmware could allow backups to play
now i wonder
how is a chip superior to flashing the drive it self?
does a ms firmware update fuck with the flash and does a chip prevent this or will i constantly need to be ready to remodd every update
can you play xbox live?
does it work with xbox and 360 games

I have heard if you update your Xbox360 online it flashes the DVD drive so you can not play back ups anymore - is this true, as my mate had probs with his system

I am looking to get a 360 in a couple of weeks, was not aware of the 'chip' version of the hack, not sure if any body sells them in the UK
