Xport Straight From The Top
« on: February 01, 2004, 12:04:00 AM »

If anyone is there with enough of the know how can help me it would be great.
I just recieved my 1st modchip I installed xboyadvance and I get the cool looking samus there and the works.

Now my son wants it to play his game boy sp games.  I bought him Sapphire and Ruby  then I downloaded them after i found what a modchip was.

The problem is they both dont work on xboyadvance. When I choose the game it goes to the loading screen , turns the screen completely white and then you just hear that backgroud song going, going (I'll add its catchy.).

I use a Xenium - Avalaunch

Thank you for your time and hopefully someone can help.

for the record, they work fine.

you may need the GBA bios file. if you get it the games running, make sure you set the realtime clock option to ON.

start the game again on xboyadv.
1.delete all of the previous pokemon file saves... sapph.. n ruby files
2.start pokemon. sapph or ruby.. then a screen comes up asking to use gameboy bios, frameskip.. etc.... right on this screen theres an option for the timeclock.. just set it to on

When he said that it should work on the pc visual boy i tried two versions of the game and they went white so I downloaded a gba file from kazaa and checked it on the pc and it worked.

So i did it on my xbox and it worked.
The games i was using sucked.
