nope, you flash your firmware, and your good to go. back up/retail pressed disc/ on or off live, you don't need to change the firmware at this time.

Best solution if you want an "off" feature - homemade dual fw chip solution with a switch, flash one chip with hacked firmware and the other with original firmware.

What do you mean homemade solution, are you talking about fabricating your chip?

How could you have dual firmware if you dont buy a chip?
