Globe360 Chip Installed In Hitachi Xbox360

I installed Globe 360 modchip.

Originals play fine, but backups have problems playing.
It just takes a much longer time for them to load, then the OPA 2.1 firmware hack.

Burner: Pioneer 11d 1.23 firmware
Media: Verbatim DVD+R DL
Burn speed: 2-2.4x

The backup game, plays, but it just takes very long to play. Many times the drive makes repeating sounds.

Do I need to adjust the laser pot ?

Don't touch the pot! It doesn't help, it's the firmware in Globe360 that needs updating.
Instead, try powering on the console with the backup inserted at power on.  Like this:

1. Power on the console.
2. Eject the DVD tray.
3. Put your backup in the tray and push the power button (yes, leave the tray open)
4. Power on the console - voila!

Good luck!

I already removed the Globe 360 modchip, and installed OPA 2.1 firmware.

I only will install a modchip when:

1) The firmware can be updated from the internal DVD player, or USB stick.
2) I can play homebrew apps

The backups do take a little longer to load but I figured its because the dvd drive seems to running half the speed and volume compared to an original. No problems with mine.
