Why?
Why don't you just flash the DVD drive. All these firmware chips are crap and useless and not even required? Save your money for a real chip.

OK, but also, with a modchip you can play online with originals.

This because the chip can be disabled, and MS cannot detect the chip with sw.

So the advantages of the chip are:

1) Can reflash a bricked drive
2) Is safe for playing online

Am I right ?

No you are not

1) if you brick your drive with a chip it is just as much bricked as without it. No chip can restore a bricked drive. Apart from that the chances of fully bricking your drive with a solder mistake are like 1000 times higher then with a normal flash.

2) Chips are not safer to play online. They spread false and incomplete claims. The chips can just as well be detected and might even be simpler to detect then new generation firmware flashes.
