Team Underdog Nme-360
« on: July 29, 2006, 01:16:00 AM »

Hello,
I got my 360 a week or so ago and was wanting to play backups.  I looked at a couple options but I dont know what is the best one.  I am really looking into the Team Underdogs NME-360.  I have a samsung drive and looked at the install picture and found that it is easy for the most point with only 4 wires and easy solder points.  Here is my questions.

1) Can I play Xbox Live with the original game and not get banned?
2) Where does the chip go once it is installed?
3) What are the advantages of this chip and the disadvantages?
4) How can I make a backup of my own game to work with this chip? (Step by step please...  Completly clueless about how to make Xbox 360 Backups)

you can go on live and not get banned with just flashing the onboard fw chip

2) Where does the chip go once it is installed?
in the dvd drive case

3) What are the advantages of this chip and the disadvantages?
ermmm advantages.................. are there any?
Disadvantages: ..
Hitachi hard to solder
looks like they were made by a blind person, who was sitting on the toliet
expensive
waste of money at the moment cos MS aint started banning
not compatible with all drives
cant create your own backups (get the SS)
the list goes on .....

ermmmm ........ u can only dump the raw game image (wxripper way) with a PC-DVDROM... no way to get the SS from it

I Hope This Helped!  sleep.gif

I was planning to buy the NME chip, but MANY people said to dont buy it.
Is it better to just flash the drive normally withoud solding chips?
Will this be reversable?

safer to add a chip, M$ will found a way to detect FW flash and then you loose your live account and banned for life of console

There is no way of knowing if MS can detect these "on the fly" fw patches as well.. So if they decide to start banning nme users, i`d say youre more proper f++ked with a soldered solution blink.gif

If M$ already detected you, you get directly banned.... So don't bother to reflash back to original...
