To turn on Xbox 360 with the Globe 360 on, turn on unit as normal [press power]. Your LED will display ON. To turn on Xbox 360 with the Globe 360 Mod Chip in off mode, "quick-tap" the power button. LED will be off.

it says plug and play, but how would i flash c4e to it?

do i have to remove the sst39sf and program it with a programmer or what?

Thx

uhhhhh i kno how to find the diagrams lol

they are on their site

i just posted how to disable and enable the chip

now what im unsure of is lets say i have a hitachi drive and want to put the garyopa 1.3 firmware on the globe-chip

how is that done? the garyopa looks more like a patch then a bin file,

and if it was a bin sile like the sammy drive how would i load it to the chip?

Thx

BTW what happens if we dont close the point of the globe chip. will the chip not function?

To load a different firmware on the SST 39SF040 chip you will need a programmer. I am using a Willem Enhanced Programmer that I got off of Ebay for about $50.00 US. I can confirm that it works and I have programmed the latest Globe 360 Firmware with Xtreme v3.0 Toshiba-Samsung H943 and Xtreme v2.1 Hitachi-LG 059 onto it.

Yes the firmware must be in a .bin file format and of the correct size which is 512KB.

Hope this answers a few of your questions. smile.gif

Hi Socalbluetooth,
I'm a newbie here . I had a bricked Hitachi with 39sf020A 70-4c-wh ( TSOP32 package). I'm looking for an eprom programmer to fix it (hopefully) and I come across Willem. As you mention you have one .Would you confirm that the Willem can handle this chip in this package with B07 (TSOP32 to DIP32 no socket) or T10(TSOP40 to DIP40 kit). IF so would you please pass some of your experience/ instruction or point me to the resources that help me through the flashing green light of the Xbox 360.
Thanks o lot
