No, that's not a fake. That's the bloody firmware mod!

As for the one by team-underdog, it certainly sounds real, as it is still for the DVD drive. Time will tell.

i cant wait for teh underdawg chip.. i wudn't be hugly impressed with this but the fact is i cannot flash my firmware with my computer (laptop.. no sata, dos cannot reconize usb).. so this is what i need.. the only question i have is how will we make backups?

Don't start all this up again. This is not a modchip as you know it its just another dvd drive flash solution.
