If you notice up at the top of the "modchip development" forum it mentions no disscusion of the Ice chip it has been hashed over so many times in the forums and ended up a total hoax.  A group came out several months back saying they had hacked the 360 and did a lot of publicity crap and then nothing came of it except a lot of wasted time from readers and posters in these forums and that is bascially it.

Well why would it be in the '360 hacking forum' if it was for the original xbox?

I thought there was something wrong with the first and they were relating other products to it. IDK
