Dude, that soldering skill sucks in the first place (connection points not fully filled with solder.... And the wire you mean must be Kynar Wire AWG 30.. It's available at several webshops or electronic stores.

Just kidding!.....I just hope for your sake that he practices a little more. Installs like this with several points next to each other on those small I C's are not for the faint of heart. It is just a solder bridge waiting to happen. You may want to have some solder wick on hand...
