These people must be legit because they are saying they are going to send out prototypes for review before any more "hype" builds up...  If they were trying to con people they definitely wouldn't be linking directly to xbox-scene from their website. If you wanted to con people you would be linking to shady as hell websites that will say anything as long as you bribe them enough, and asking for as many pre-orders as possible. These guys are saying they don't want pre-orders, so that tells you up front that they aren't hyping for financial gain. Also, they aren't sharing too many clues on how their chip works because they don't want any competition stealing their discoveries! Yeah it sucks that they can't "share the knowledge" just for the good of the scene, but business is business. Also, don't get mad at xbox-scene for posting news about this...can you imagine what would happen if xbox-scene DIDN'T post anything about this and everyone else did? Xbox-scene mods would have their inboxes FLOODED with tips, questions, comments etc about "devil 360" this and "devil 360" that...fake or not, this will keep their email inboxes more empty so they can pay attention to more important emails. Just wait for a prototype to be reviewed and calm down. If it ends up being bogus, xbox-scene will be first to let you know about it.

So how are we going to do unsigned code without an 360XDK?

Its UNsigned code, you dont need a XDK, thats what the CHIP is for. Just like a chip for the xbox.

The reason xbox-scene doesn't link directly to homebrew or sites hosting homebrew is because the homebrew is built with an XDK. And Team Devil claims to have an XDK.

Excuse me.

This was posted back in what, Feb, March? So they found a hole in 3-4 months, already? I'll believe it when I see it. Sounds like another marketing gimp like they already claimed back then that something huge was gonna be on 06/06/06. Sounds like M$ and there game titles. Say one thing, release the game 6+ months later.

im so sick an tired of coming to read a thread that may have interesting info (probably is somewhere here between all the keyboard warrior kiddies).. opinions should be kept to yourselves, who else honestly cares what the dude next to him believes in regards to this Devil360? I dont think im alone when i asked to 'discuss this news article in our forums' expecting SOME reasonable or maybe even FACTUAL information, can't we have a DISCUSSION.. not just 'i rekon its fake so you all have to agree'... keep wasted posts to yourselves, lets have a real adult discussion about it... *awaits more keyboard kiddies nerf missile flame posts*

I think he is referring to development of actual applications for the xbox 360, but that is possible as well. Its just a LOT easier with an XDK

As a proven xbox and xbox 360 expert, I would have to say I dunno.
I am offering the Veee-chip, untested, CRACKED for sure(yes I mean broken), and a free autographed 8 x 10 of me for 19.95.

Yes, it does sound too good to be true

i like how ppl are saying that they should have released pictures or video proof today, at least something...how many times have groups released videos for any modchips they may be releasing for xbox/ps2/psp and every human hasn't been skeptical about the autenticy, ppl are always saying that their are to many wires so it cant be proved its not another console off screen...no body believed the specialists first proof video when he developed the firmware hack so why would anyone believe a video from a new group developing their first chip for a 360 most ppl think is unhackable except by the big groups from the orignal xbox, such as, xecuter and xenium...and even team ice had release pictures of their mod chip and those were proven fake...releaseing "proof" would have just made more ppl skeptical and gotten them more "hype" then they weere looking for rite now before they could release and actually product for review..of course if they didnt want hype they should have not worried so much about releasing on 6/6/06 and more on releasing a working product first..

I just find it odd that all these other known mod chip producers such as executer etc..,  couldnt find this hole but this entirely new group was able to produce a mod chip with this newly discovered security hole in a matter of months.

I really hope its true but the signs don't look to good.

the main reason people are bitchin is because Team Devil fomented expectations.

If you claim to change the (XBOX) world on 6-6-6 and can't come up with at least a screenshot or ANY info concerning your product - no wonder you are laughed at.

they should have finished their product and released it when it was ready.

they would have been the modding gods if they lived up to the expectations they deliberately created.
but now they suffer from great loss of credibility.

I hope they can recover from this big disappointment.
so keep up the work, guys, and enrich the world with your *working* modchip.
