If you post saying "it's fake" leave it at that, if you want to argue about why you think it's fake, then do it sensibly and with respect. It won't be long before we have "it's fake" "it's not" "yeh....well you're fat!"

Personally I'm still 50/50, it seems a bit dodgy, but I wasn't around when the Xbox was hacked, so I can't say what's normal in a first chip release. Also X-S haven't clarified any stance of neutrality, you'd think if they were just reporting it because it *might* be real, and they'd prefer to report it until it's proved fake, they'd at least say that they're keeping a neutral stance on it. That's my thoughts anyway.

Well I went onto their site an put my email address in their subscription box in the hope of receiving some additional info from them or at least some updates. But all I got was a confirmation email saying that I'd successfully subscribed. I have very little faith now.

vaporware.  the paranoid part of me sees an elaborate marketing scheme by MS to get publicity off 6/6/6, who went and ordered a 360 or 2 based on this supposed modchip, and simultaneously bend over all us nasty game pirates that don't pay for their games.  on the other hand, it could just be a site trying to build up their user base and referral clicks.  they say they won't release it because they want to make it better and undetectable/...so they must have a product/bios, why not release a short functional description on what they bypassed/broke in the security or invite the mods from XBH/XS to witness the installation and booting of a backup with the original firmware intact or just a little, "hello world!" program.

I just released my own Mod Chip: The Superultramega360!! This Chip includes the following features:

*Boot unsigned code
*Rip Games to internal Hard Disk
*Add larger hard disk (all types IDE SATA SCSI MFI RAID)
*Make toast
*Processor speed select
*Inflatable girl

This chip requires no soldering and in fact just set it on top of your Xbox 360 and it will work. Unfortunately our servers are down... but....umm...we'll be back. Just wait m'kay?
