Can't Find Driver For My Via Card?
« on: February 01, 2013, 01:12:00 AM »

It should be plug & play for windows 7.
If the drivers don't automatically install, go into device manager, right click on the item and select the update driver option.

You can also try here or here

Vista driver should work on win7.

Can't Find Driver For My Via Card?
« Reply #1 on: February 01, 2013, 10:09:00 AM »

When I start my comp the via card see's my liteon drive, But my comp doesn't.
What I mean is that when it goes to the via card's "BIOS" I can select the PLDS DG/etc drive, And when I start JF it can't detect the drive. So do I have to delete the driver first? Because when I download that driver there is like a 12 different files, and 3 folders.

EDIT
I should also mention that when I go to device manager I can see the VIA 6421.
But I get BSOD's if I disable it, forcing me to do a system restore.
