Hello! A few days back I received a 256Mb Jasper which the previous owner had attempted to RGH. The console would not power on anymore and as I suspected the problem was in the STBY_CLK point. After fixing that I also noticed the CPU_PLL point damaged under the board and proceeded to use the alternative point near the CPU. After the fixes I re-wrote the Xell ecc and to my surprise the console would not boot. I tried every capacitor fix I could find without success. The glitcher (a matrix v2) seemed fine, the LED would blink every 5s and evereytinhg else... After rerouting the wires and writing the ecc back countless times I decided to leave it as it was and write back the original NAND (provided by the owner of the Jasper) and everything went smoothly until I powered the console. 3RL in my face instantly with error code 0022. So I went to google and after a while I found a possible solution which is shown in the attached picture. The fix consisted in joining the F point with a nearby point. In the forum where I found it a number of users reported success in booting the console. Since I used the alternative F point, I soldered a wire from it to the specified point, however during the process I noticed that there was a missing resistor near the F point. After the fix the console now took a few seconds to show the 3RL, but I suspect it won't boot without the resistor. I have another board from which I could take the component for replacemente but I don't know if solder will adhere to that point anymore. I tried soldering one end of a 10k resistor to the top pad of the missing one and the other end to the point suggested in the fix without luck. My question is, does anyone know an alternative point for that particular resistor? Maybe on top of the board? The upper pad still has solder on it... Any help will be appreciated. Many Thanks.
