Broken Maximus Usb Xtractor Probe

Hi,

Earlier I had purchased the Maximus USB Xtractor kit but when it arrived the tip of the probe was broken and the seller has refused to provide a replacement. Now I cannot use it to read my liteon keys. Is there a way I can repair the tip? like solder something etc. Any advice is helpful.
