Console Wont Boot Cod Black Ops At All In Any Form

I dont know about the demo's but to me it sounds like you have a non ap 2.5 drive in your system. If you have a non ap 2.5 drive in a system that originally came with it the xbox will always give you an unrecognized disc error even with originals. You will need to get the original drive for it to work.

From what the seller told you, it sounds exactly like what i mentioned. To bad it wasnt the other way around. I had an xbox just like yours that had that exact same issue. Once i swapped it to the original drive it worked great.

I'm guessing that the demo's also have ap 2.5 on them.

Hmm, its a  LITE-ON 7485 FW - STOCK , funny though, as you load the demo you can hear it read the dvd drive briefly, but the drive is at stock so im a bit confused. But why would a demo check the drive?, and if its stock what does it matter?, ill try plugging it into my lizard and see if there is anything on, flash it to lt1.91 maybe and see if it helps, total weirdness.

So your saying the drive could be spoofed?, but it was flash back to stock by the dash update?

weird

Ok this is doing my head in, can anybody shed any light on this?,

Drive was at stock, so flashed to  LT1.91, and still i receive " X Game Error, Please Download Again"

Now when you try and load the demo, it checks the disc drive? why i dont know, but only if there is a disc in the drive, either that or you just cant hear it when the drive is empty.

Totally confused, it works on every console but this one.

The drive in the machine is correct, LITE-ON and its not spoofed or anything, im gonna try to burn COD on a dosc and see what happens.....

PS i have the orginal drive that WAS in the machine, and its the same as that is in there now, only the lazer is burned out.

The demo will not boot either still from the hdd?

Tested the game in other consoles its fine.

Tested another drive on this console, will not boot ?
Tested the drive in this console on another console and it boots, so
the drive is fine, its the console...
