hi guys, i am completely new in this xbox scene........

i have a xbox slim which i believe can be modded......

i spoke to my friend who mods and he told me that i will be needing a modchip from team-xecuter which will replace the original chip and then after that some aoft mod and i am good to go.............

he is not ready to teach me how to do it and he is charging me.........
so i decided to learn and get deeper into the scene............

any help will be appreciated..........

i dont know from where to start........i tried looking into various topics and tutorials......but things go above my head.......so i would request to please link me to an appropriate tutorial which is easy to understand......or anyone can tell me a step by step procedure.............

Well you could have asked in the Newbie forum or read any of the stickies around here.

Since I assume you are on the latest dashboard, you will either need a replacement pcb from team-xecuter (out of stock and out of production) or use riskier methods to unlock the drive.

If you are on a hitachi drive, you are out of luck.
