Flash The Xbox 360 With Laptop?
« on: July 31, 2011, 01:13:00 PM »

Hi,

I currently have a pc with vt6421, and until now I was flashing my xbox though it.
Now I'm about to buy a laptop that will replace my pc, and a just wonder - Will I still be able to flash my xbox360? If so, is there any special component/output that the laptop must have?

Thanks.

Some laptops have a e-sata out, but it's not guaranteed to work. Best bet is to just get a x360usb; don't forget a power adapter if you don't have access to a molex.

Please point me in the direction of an up-to-date (2011)guide to converting my old xbox360 (2006 Xenon) into a Linux Media Server.

Is there a way to boot from usb - ie Ubuntu Live USB? and/or is there a way to remote into xbox as video card is broken?

Any help appreciated.
