I wouldn't hold your breath for an Xbox version just yet though.

I dont think thats gonna be a OpenSource emu, if it is thats incredible. Even if it is though, a Dreamcast emulator would be just as slim as a Ps2 Emulator. If this emulator does turn out OpenSource and its ported. 75% of the games wouldnt work unless you had the Ram Upgrade, Slim to None of the games would play at full speed, and you COULDNT use Originals.
"3.) What are the system requirements for playing dc games on a pc with?
As with any emulator it'll vary from game to game. Currently with an interpreter core Crazy Taxi is running at 4-5 frames per second in-game on my Pentium III 850mhz machine. Thus you'd need a 8ghz spec machine to run this full speed.
On the other hand a game such as Headhunter in training mode seems to be running at a relatively smooth 15fps, implying only the need for a 3ghz machine.
In essence until a strong dynamic recompiler is written for the CPU then you won't be playing these games at full speed, and even then you'll need 2ghz+."

The one game that i loved most on dreamcast is Soul Calibur but now i see that SC2 is coming out for xbox....oh HAPPY DAY!
They should've included the original Soul Calibur as an unlockable bonus for the Xbox version of Soul Calibur 2. (in the same way House of the Dead 3 had HOTD2 as an unlockable extra and Panzer Dragoon orta had Panzer Dragoon 1 as an unlockable extra).
Those are both Sega games though. Soul Calibur 2 is Published and Developed by Namco.
Ye that would be cool though, would be like a Dreamcast library on our Xbox. The only game I would like for Xbox that Sega makes is Power Stone w/ System Link support.

Is it true Power Stone 3 is being made for xbox currently. I heard that like last year sometime. If so who knows they might make Powerstone 1 and/or 2 unlockable.

True 128 bit processing...i've heard that, among other things, makes the dreamcast a pain in the ass to emulate. Same thing with saturn (multiple processors, correct?)...however, PSone seems VERY feasable. I remember bleem worked even a little bit on my 100 mhz pentium 1. Ran bubble bobble 2 REALLY slow
. However, that means a 733mhz geforce machine has a chance. FFVII on xbox...oh man
Funny...the dreamcast uses the SH4, NOT 128-bit.
32-bit GPRs with 16-bit instruction length.
Oh yeah, the 128-bit floating point is merely 4 packed 32-bit values.
Data bus being 100Mhz -> 800MB/s bandwidth.
SH4 is nothing special at all, so get your facts straight please.

Hey Mage Dont be a dick , get that strait
Yes, I'll let people say false things, and then we'll have another ps2 emulation thread here.
I stated facts, nothing more.
If anyone is being a dick, it was you.
