had similar freezing issues, mine was related to the gpu. no matter which game, it either froze or gave artifacts. reflowing etc. didn't work, in the end i threw it awaw. if you reflowed it with a heatgun, perhaps a proper reflow or reball will fix it.. but i would look into a replacement xbox and sell this one

Is it overheating cus thats what was happening to mine the temp was reaching 60 to 70c on the gpu so i installed the Xfan Upgrade Cooling Kit and the highest temp I've had since is 56c so far touch wood its not broke

Thanks. It was reflowed on a machine. Here is what is strange. I now have it standing up outside my  stand and it has not had a game freeze. My stand is a open stand also. I may look into the fan upgrade. Any suggestions where to buy it in the USA?
