I use 2 360s, one virgin Falcon for Xbox Live and one modded Falcon that never sees the net. I have one hard drive I use between the 2.
Yesterday, on the modbox, I was playing a game no prob, got some achievements, and decided I wanted to play something else. I popped in a patched AP25 game (abgx checked as of yesterday) and got the Unreadable Disc Error. Apparently the 'latest' version of firmware on "the usual place" wasnt actually the latest. I checked things with Xval and it listed my console as flagged for AP25 Auth Failure. I removed the hard drive and went down to put it on the virgin box figuring I would have a corrupted profile, as well as not get the achievements I just got. When I logged into Live, everything was fine. I got my points and profile was good. Thought that was weird. Shouldn't it have been corrupted?
So I went to unflag my modbox and followed a tutorial on a different site. After multiple matching dumps, I ran findsecdata on all 4 and recieved the "old secdata.bin not found" error. So, for some reason fsc thinks I'm not flagged, and my profile was never flagged.
Once I reflash the DVD drive properly, you think I should throw the hard drive back on it and see what happens? Has anything like this happened yet? I've seen other people with the same "old secdata.bin not found" problem, but I havent found a solution for it.
Thoughts?
