Jasper Arcade? Where did you download the update from and where did you copy the saves to?

Yes, it's arcade. I copied the saves from usb stick to the harddrive. Not copying it to MU as i know that can cause bricks. Well, about the update, i copied a update and put it into Hydrophobia folder and forgot to have the family content thing on to block live. So when i entered the game i was told to do an update and i foolishly did, but i got an error exactly when it was done downloading, so i shut down the system. Thing is, after that it all was working fine, i even played Fable 3 and entered New vegas, but when i shut it down and switched harddrive it suddely didn't work anymore.

All you can really do is reflash. A lot of people looking to sell jumped on the 12625 bandwagon, which didn't have dashlaunch. I would have thought the rebooter patches would have it covered, but perhaps because it didn't have DL the console wrote to the MU and it corrupted.

I've never intentionally save to the internal MU on mne, but there's still content on there. It's been a while since i've on live, but doesn't the console have to be connected to Live for it to know there's an update for a game in the first place? If so and your console works after a reflash which it should, you may have had a lucky escape. I'd make sure U6T1/2 is bridged...

Ok, well, i bought the Jtag from a modder here in Norway. So i don't really know much about this stuff. But i know any installation progress never started from this update. I got an error the second the download was finished. Still weird that it didn't get corrupt then and 30-hour later it is, is it not? and what do you expect my chances to recover from this is?

I'm guessing block 0 containing the SMC has been overwritten. Did you remove the power from the console between downloading the update and when you first had the brick issue?

You should be fine once you reflash. Anyone decent should have bridged U6T1/2, especially on a Jasper.

i didnt have the brick issue before several restarts after the faulty update, that's what i find weird.. If the update was the cause, wouldn't the brick appear after first console restart? I'm kinda worried that this isn't the cause and that i still sit here with no information about what the cause is. Other than copying over some games to content/000etc and games folders i really haven't done anything other than that update.
