I have a fully running jtag box on fb 12611 runing fine, but I dont have a probe, I have my cpu key from  xell and have my original explotible dash dump that's un touched. When I enter both into 360 flash tool is give me my DVD drive key(apparently). As my drive is 74850C, would I be able to flash the drive w/o the probe, but instead use the key that flash tool gives me?(assuming I have a capable via chipset)

If possible would you mind explaing to me how to manually specify the dvd key in jungle slasher instread of specifying a source dvd dump?

i won't go in to the discussion whether or not you need to do the mra hack to get the calibration data. some claim you also need it for the old liteon 74xx drives; whereas others claim that you don't need it because there is no data in it.

I personally NEVER use the calibration datat on the old 74xxx drives.....

in your case if you have the dvd key; you can input it manually into JF. just leave source blank; and load the lt+ fw into destination. input you dvd key (the values) into jf and hit spoof. then your dvd key will be inserted into the lt+ fw. then just write it to the drive. for all this; READ the JF manual. it is explained rather nice with pictures and all.

you don't need the probe; since probe is only used to READ the dvd key. you already have your dvd key; since xellous produced it for you.

all you need is the key for games to work, get it from xellous by booting w/ the eject button.  the real question is why are u using a drive to play games on a jtag?
