I've had it running on freeBoot .32. For about half a year, no issues. I recently let my little bro play some Black Ops, was sitting right here, no problems. Pretty darn sure there were no updates, of any kind, applied. Turned it off. When I turned it back on was greeted by a nice blank screen.
Blank screen, but WOULD boot into Xell via eject. Reflashed my previously working freeBoot image via lpt (only recently learned I could do so via Xell, lame, I know), still greeted by the blank screen. Cycling the power, of course.
Have tried multiple times, including with the kinetic dash created with bestpigs, freeboot toolbox, etc. I got it to boot the kinetic dash two times...then more blank screen. XBR will boot just fine. Except that it won't allow me to play ANY of my GODs, game rips, or ANYTHING besides homebrew.
It's been suggested to me that it may need to be "reballed", a GPU issue. If this is the case it will be a month or two until I can do anything about it, as I do not have the proper equipment to reball it. And Christmas is coming up. Plus my daughters and little bros birthday, so money is an issue, atm.
I am hoping that one of you gifted souls out there might be able to give me any ideas. I just got the itch to play some Halo, have mercy! lol. I'm looking for anything I might be able to try, AT LEAST get XBR booting my GODs, etc. Seriously, you know how you can go forever without playing a game then suddenly you get the urge to play? Then imagine your 360 is acting like a once a month bloody....yeah. Blows.
Did the "safer alternative to removing r6t3", when I first jtag'ed her if that means anything. Thank you for your time.
