I do not have access to a computer at the moment to update to the lt plus so please advice if it is safe to perform the update.

Since the NfS update is the last of the three, I suppose it should be ok to update it again. If you want to be sure, you can try running again the second download (which might not pick up, since you already run it once) and then go on updating the third one from the disk, if asked.

I'm not a "noob" but I also admit that I haven't studied up on stuff related to the dashboard.  I apologize for my lack of knowledge.  If I understand correctly, the dashboard I'm using now (after following your instructions) is the beta version of the newest update.  I'm just wondering if there would ever be a time when I'd be forced to update to the "official" version before M$ releases a totally NEW update at some point in the future.

I hope that makes sense.  If not, let me know and I'll try to ask my question in a different way.  I also apologize if I missed the answer in a previous post.  Everything started to run together after about page 8.  

I'm glad everything went fine with the updates and AP2.5 games.
As for the dashboard issue, the one you end up with after this exploit is a beta version of the new kinect dash. That means that you dont need any more updates in order to play any of the games currently out. It is possible that M$ might unleash a mandatory update (as it happened with the kinect dash, which was a mandatory step when you inserted a wave 7,8 or 9 wave) in order to play future games. So far so good, but in time M$ might release some wave 10 or whatever, that will need a new dash in order to play.

If you updated your dash from a game (that is you installed straightly the 12416 dash) or online (you ended up with the full kinect 12611.0 dash) you obviously installed also the AP2.5 protection. And this lead tothe unable to read disk issue (also flagging your console, if it's not already banned).
The only way to play NfS was to follow the three updates included in this topic, having as a starting point a 9199 or earlier dash.
The ppf patch is useless if you already run the game through abgx 1.0.5, since this patches it for you. AND it's mandatory ONLY for consoles flashed with LT+.

ive got an xbox with benq vad 6038 drive which was flashed 3 years back with ixtreme v1.1 ,
my dashboard is 2.012416.0 can i use the above exploit to paly ,,the new backup games ,,
black ops ,nfshp ,acbh
and old games like tom clancys conviction ,fallout vegas ,,
i dont go on live ,the xbox has been repaired by xbox for 3 rrod and put a new warranty seal ,the warranty will exspire in march 2011 ,so dont want to open the xbox

I'm afraid the only method for you now is the LT+.
This exploit can be used only if you have an old dash. Your dash is the beta kinect with already AP2.5 payload installed, and there's no way to go back.

who ever went from 9199 to 2.0.12416.0(using asssasin)
the 3 games didnt work.

and those who went from 9199 to 2.0.12611.0(newest)
these 3 games didnt work

only those who played kinect adventures and then kinect animals and finally assasins creed.
these 3 games  worked.
harcore gamers were out of luck,but casual player who brought kinect were rewarded

i am assuming the ap2.5 check is also in the assasins's creed update,
but running the 2 kinect games,kinda gliched it or something.

maybe if anyone who has an easy acess to update lt+ and before upgrading their firmware
on their offline banned console,

Any update to 12611 will void this exploit. Even if performed after getting this exploit to work with these 3 updates.
Also, if you install all 3 these updates straightly from the games, the exploit wont work, because the first 2 updates are not the complete system updates (ie they lack the avatars, which will be restored by the third update). To make this exploit work, you need the first 2 updates from here, and you're allowed to install only the third one from the game (alternatively to download it from here).

The third update wont overwright the lack of AP2.5 from the first 2, but if you install the full dash 12611, it will, because it will recognize the earlier updates as beta and will overwright each part of it.

i just flashed with sammy lt1.0 ixtreme and everything works.

put AC:B in the drive and updated the dashboard, wworks A-1. sammys rock.

My drive is a Benq with Ixtreme 1.6.

i currently have a sammy spoofed as a liteon flashed with 1.61

will this run 2.5 games or will i need to buy a new lite on to replace it?

It will work on yours too, provided you still have the old dash and possibly you'll need the activate disk for some AP2.5 games.

Hi Guys i have been searching for solution to play Assassins Creed Brotherhood. I have accidentally updated my console to 2.0.12611.0 through USB from MS Site. And i know the AP 2.5 protection is enabled.
Searching whole internet for lot of different solutions but didnt find any.......    
I have Lite-On drive of 7-Series and iXtreme 1.5. And when i have taken the my xbox to mod for LT+ he said nothing was working u cannot update it to LT+. He has tried but ended up with nothing is working...
I m tryin n tryin hoping that any sol might be there to patch or fix or bypass AP2.5 somehow... but dont know...
i have extracted the iso modified the default.xex for AP2.5 removal but im unable to re-built back the xbox 360 iso again...
COuld anyone help me out...
or  i need to get a new 360 which is very very much painful............

Dude i really want to get this right. (your 3 links are down, but i can download it from somewhere else and install them in that order). Here goes my situation: I have an elite with ixtreme LT FW with the 9199 dashboard version. I can play fable 3 perfectly fine but as you are saying NFS and ACB will force me to update to 12611.0 but I haven't tried them yet. My only fear is if the updates i found in other sources don't work, so can i do it with those versions from other sites or do i have to do it with your 3 files?

ps: i'm asking this because i see several versions with differente sizes and some say "update with avatars" and i don't really know if those will works as yours do

As for your problem, there's a non-stealth chip you can put in your console, as well as some soldering and switch you could on your console in order to bypass non-stealthly your Xbox
