The dash you've got is the kinect beta 413. This is the version that you'd end up with after installing the first update. This could mean that you might be able to proceed with the second and third update from the files posted here.
The point is that these updates are not as complete as the retail are, which means that your beta 413 could have included the protection AP2.5.
Carrying on this method could be successful only if the protection isnt already been installed but we cant be sure it's not. So, you might end up trying an AP2.5 game, and if the protection had been installed in your 413 dash, you'd end up flagging the console.
It's a bet. If you care about LIVE, then you might want to take safer chances. If you dont go online, then you can proceed and try.

They're 2 different things:
Patching (SS3) the game with ppf-o-matic isnt necessary anymore, since the new abgx 1.0.4 does that for you on checkup (just set autofix level 3). And SS3 patching is only required to play AP2.5 games on LT+. This method does not require it (although I suggest it because you always should check a game with abgx before burning it, and because you wont have to download and burn it again when when you decide to go with LT+).

You just need to download the file and put it in a usb memory stick.
If you prefer, and you've got an iXtreme 1.6, 1.61 or LT, you may pop in your console a copy of your ACB and update from there instead of downloading the file here. (Just remember you need the activate disk for 1.6 and 1,61. A wave patched game wont work.

Hello, I have 2 questions:

1) I have Xtreme 5.3b on Samsung MS28, I never had to patch any games with any wave. Now, is it necessary to patch AP2.5 games with agbx for SSV3 in order to work surely with your method or is it only useful in order to use AP 2.5 games with LT+ firmware?

2) If I update my dashboard with this method to Kinect beta (without AP2.5), when I will decide or when it will be necessary using firmware LT+, will it be necessay other dashboard update to final version?

Thanks

No, it wont be necessary to update the dashboard. But if you will, it wont prejudice you.

If you mean you have an LT+ fw in your console, then you have to patch with the SS3 only the games with AP2.5 protection, and you have to leave the original wave. That is Fable 3, Need for Speed HP, and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
All the other games are good to go. Even if you downgraded the wave.
You dont need ppf-o-matic anymore to patch them with the SS3. Just run them through ABGX360 1.0.5 (setting autofix level 3), and it will patch them for you.

Got it!! I can confirm that my Samsung MS28 spoofed (Liteon 74850 as original) with xtreme 5.3b work with ACB ( I will try other titles later ). I checked again with Xval and I am not flagged after booying and playing ACB.

My dashboard was a version previous 2.0. 9199. I used method as following:
1) I updated my dashboard to 2.0.9199
2) I used first pack update --> dashboard became 2.012413
3) I used second pack update --> dashboard became 2.0.12416
4) I used third pack update--> dashboard again 2.0.12416
5) I burnt ACB on Verbatim MKM003 with Imgburn at 2X without patching before file .iso

Now I have a question bcos I have another console with dashboard 2.0.12413  (version updated when Kinekt device was linked in the first time).

Can I apply method starting from second pack? Will it work or is it necessay starting only from dashboard 2.0.9199 ??

Thanks again

For you the same exact answer I gave a guy a couple of posts ago:

Ok thanks for answer. i can understand that 100% good result is not sure with this method if I don't start from pre-kinekt dashboard (e.g. 2.0.9199). So, as LT+ firmware is available and this other console has Liteon drive, I think that I will flash LT+ fw.

My only doubt is last one: when I will put ACB backup (patched with Agbox) into LT+ flashed Liteon drive, will I have to update dashboard from game? I suppose yes otherwise the game will not start...

Can you confirm this pls?

Thanks again)

Yes, when you play it on a LT+ with an old dash, in order to make it work (since it's a wave 9, which doesnt work on the old dashboard)  the system will ask you to update from the disk to the kinect dash.

The links are not working.

Also, I have an original toshiba-samsung 25.  I was banned a long time ago and haven't updated even to the NXE I think.  Do I have anything to worry about?  I can just make a backup and continue playing with no problems right?

I can confirm it. When I inserted in LT+ Liteon ACB (patched with agbox), dvd game requested an update of dashboard, now this last one is 2.0.12416 (very probably with AP 2.5 controlw), previously it was 2.0.413 from updating of Kinekt device.

After booting of ACB and installing on xbox HD, I checked again serial+X with Xval and it seems that it's not flagged. So, I think that it it's very important to boot AP 2.5 games only after flashing Liteon with LT+.

thanks
