Very recently I decided to flash to the latest freeBOOT with the new dashboard, and during the process I decided to fix my Zephyr's random E79 problems by patching the SMC and resoldering the JTAG wiring to AUD_CLAMP. Despite some minor setbacks (one of which was using the wrong smc.bin while making the updflash.bin, easily rectified), everything went smoothly. I certainly don't get E79 errors anymore, which is great, and I even installed the official update after making sure fB 0.04 was properly flashed. Here's where things gets strange, however.
None of the installed 360 games on Hdd1:\ work through the Microsoft dashboard, i.e. Games on Demand packages. No matter how the 360 games are installed now--either through Iso2GoD, or ripping a retail disc in the dash and using NXE2GoD to convert it--I get thrown back to the dash with an error claiming, "The game could not be started." XBLA content works fine, as do QuickBoot shortcuts to ripped 360 games in my \Games\ folder, and even original Xbox games converted using Iso2GoD run just fine. Oddly enough, the GoD packages do run perfectly fine in Freestyle Dash, but I'm not very partial to using that application. Also, there was one particular instance where I installed a retail disc and ran NXE2GoD; it only ran once without the disc, then went back to spitting out the same error from before.
Does anybody have any ideas or thoughts as to what may be causing this? It's more of an inconvenience than anything, since I can still play the games without needing my discs all the time... But it's still pretty strange.
