anyone know how to revert back to older dash???

Cant be done. Toss the chip in the bin and flash to LT+ and all will be good.

Wont revert the ban your console got for playing an AP2.5 game without LT+ but at least you will be able to play new games again.

anyone know how to revert back to older dash???

Forgive me resurrecting this thread, but has anyone using the NME-360v2 recently applied the Fall 2011 update
and had ALL previous backup discs fail to run?

I was forced to apply a console update by Halo Anniversary last week.
The Dashboard is now 2.0.13599.0 (can't remember the previous time I updated nor what it was)

From that moment on, every one of my old backup discs gives the error "Unrecognized Disc".
All of these games worked fine just prior to the update.
All of them are OLD games, long before XGD3 and AP25.
All originals still work fine.
(Pretty sure it's the update, the odds of it being something else at the very moment that I applied the update
 seem rather remote!)

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.
Ay input would be much appreciated.

The update flashed your drive with the new stock firmware. This also likely borked up the way that thing you call a "modchip" works.

remove it and flash your drive with the latest LT+ 2.0 or wait until LT+ 3.0.

Thanks Ranger72
Yep, LT2 or 3 is looking very probable.
Oh well, it was a good run.

BTW I call the thing a "modchip" because gooseberry seemed inappropriate :-)
