Banned Xbox Hd, New Console

If I am not mistaken, no.

Reason because, when you were banned, your hard drive was crippled as well. Your gamer profiles and saves will read as corrupt on another system. Microsoft made it to where the content of the hard drive is married to the banned xbox. At first they disabled the function to install games to the hard drive but this was later enabled.

Everything you have accomplished since the last time you have signed in will be lost if you put the hard drive on an unbanned console and sign into live to recover the gamertag.

I dont see why it would put your unbanned console in any danger. Like I said, everything you 7have on that hard drive will be corrupted including your gamertag. Your gamertag will be restored once you sign into live. However, any achievements made since the last time you signed in will not be counted on your score.

Wow this thread is full of useless BS

1: The HDD is NOT!!!!!! Banned

2: The HDD is NOT!!!!!! Crippled

The issue is the ban causes the consoles signing key to be revoked rendering the content to appear as corupt on other consoles but this was reversed in a later update.

Searching would have answered the question without the need to post.

Interesting I have a banned consoles and several non banned systems.
I have played newer games like halo and done the system update from that disc so
I could play system link in my house with buddies.

You say a later update reversed the console signing key issue?

Are you talking about a microsoft update or a scene update?

Because after playing a couple games that did updates since Novem those profiles still are
corrupt on everything but banned consoles.

Is this not what you mean, or are you saying if I made a new account on a banned console I can take
it to a new console and it wont be corrupt?  Just confused and looking for some clarification.
