Found A Jasper In A Pawn Shop.... Question Though
« Reply #15 on: September 24, 2010, 12:31:00 PM »

It is not by any means my first time doing a jtag LOL. As I have said I have done numerous jtags. My first jtag was a xenon almost a year ago. It had bad blocks and I had to manually remove them. every jtag since then has been a simple read, modify and flash.

Just started to read the nand again and get the same errors. 250 at B0 and 2d0. I have not let it read up to the 1000's yet. I am going to go the route you have linked to for sure. This would take forever if I did full reads and writes by lpt LOL.

I am certain I can follow the guide. It is pretty straight forward and most of the commands can be simply copied and pasted into the command prompt. As long as I have that first 2MB properly read I am safe if something goes wrong correct?

Mail just ran today, unfortunately no parts. The seller is in Ohio and he shipped yesterday, so tomorrow for sure (I hope LOL)

Well crap, I followed the guide to a tee and the xbox will not boot into xell. I also followed the guide provided for the aud clamp wiring.

Any suggestions??

I am going to solder my lpt cable back on and triple check my jtag wiring here in a few minutes.

Well shoot, I have tried all solutions in the tutorial to get it to boot up. Power, dvd eject, and wired controller in the back does not work.

I tested all connections for the aud clamp wiring and everything was solid. I took the aud clamp wiring off and tried the diode method and same thing. The center light constantly blinks, even with the dvd drive hooked up.

If I let it sit there long enough (30 seconds), it will RROD with a error code of 0022.

I managed to get two full matching NAND dumps however they both had errors #250 on blocks B0, 2D0, and 12B8 . I don't think those blocks really matter when going this method.

Anyone care to lend a hand here?

Mods, can you please lock this topic? I have made a more detailed post about the problem in the onboard bios section
