I'm not a master with flashing drives as it isnt my thing. But one thing I can tell you is that if you do get unbanned there is about to be another ban wave in the next few months following the new dash update. I know with jtag's you can unban with a keyvault. I dont know if its possible even though it seems it would. But even if you were to get a fresh keyvault you would probably need to update your drive's firmware. And by the way, your xbox should have old dash so you might want to think about jtaging it as it makes it possible to run your backed up games off your hard drive and you dont need to spend money on DVD's.

I remember I got banned last october for the ban wave before Halo as that was the "christmas present". I just don't know how to do a jtag mod/update.

And yeah I'm still doing the burning the iso's on the disc etc

It is an excellent starting point into the world of jtag. This of course wont unban you, but it will open up a world of possibility. You might want to first skim through it and see if you do have an exploitable software version and xbox.

Thanks, still confusing as to what 5 XENON,1 ZEPHYR, AND 2 JASPER is or what XeLLous is.

I'm more used to the terms of the disc tray of samsung, hitachi etc.

Lol its fine. If you go a little further down it will tell you how to check your software version to see if you can jtag. And the xenon, zepyhr, jasper, ect are the types of motherboards available in xboxs. Further down it will show you how to find out what kind of mobo you have based on the power plug connector.

Sorry to say it`s not jtagable 100% .... as he was using it last x-mass 2009

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news m8.. No live for the console just off line play , if I`am wrong ? which I am quiet sure am not........... Then I think more qualified members will put you straight.

Okay, found out the xbox isn't hacked but would like to do the jtag thing. Is there a jtag for dummies step by step dumbed down? link by jak is still too complex...

True, how did I overlook that? But if you were on live in 2009 your console is updated and you defiantly can't jtag it. And that tutorial is about as easy as its going to get. Its a hard hack, no way to make it easier.
