Exploitable? Heck, Even Possible?

I was looking on ebay for a jtaggable box and i found a jasper but it says the manufacture date is 10/16/2009 and the dash is 7363? I thought mfr after juneish 09 was patched Cb 7371, how is this 7376?

June 18 , 2009 is the cut-off so if this is true it would be interesting. Perhaps the seller is mistaken or perhaps the serial number on the shell does not match the motherboard inside.

It won't be exploitable, unless as already stated, the innards have been swapped out. Wouldn't touch it with a barge-pole meself.

If it's made on that date, then yes - there must be 7363 patched bootloader kernels out there.....

I am almost certain no one has ever seen anything before 7371 with the CB patched.
Now i want you to buy it just so we can figure out what is up with it. smile.gif

It'd be interesting if it was exploitable - the only thing I can think of is that it comes from a different manufacturing plant than most other 360's, or I seem to remember (can't remember where from though) that some official refurb'd 360's came back with an unexploitable 7363 kernel.
Is the seller sure it say's 'manufacture date' and not 'service date'?

*edit* here's info on non-exploitable 7363 Jaspers:

yea i would shy away with buying consoles on Ebay people tend to rip you off. Example i bought a "new other" xbox 360 with the warranty sticker removed.
