So when you go to 08400 you don't see this:

IPB Image

Excuse the crap screenshot. Your CB in this case would be 1A43. Post a pic of what you've got at this address.

Thats address 8400C, not 8400 wink.gif Dump your whole NAND anyway, just to be on the safe side. Just seen your getting errors. I reckon your LPT/USB wiring might be off, and no it won't harm the NAND to stop reading - it does if you're writing though......

I'm getting error code 280 though while dumping. Should I close CMD and retry dumping?

Try to restart your pc and not run any thing else while you dump to fix the error 280

Thanks, I have firefox opened. Restarting now.

As has been said - don't do anything on your PC whislt it's dumping/writing. Redump the start of the NAND, and then after you've done that, look at address 8400, post a screenshot of it.

Recheck your LPT wiring, then recheck your JTAG - it sounds like a power short - also cover your wiring on the underside with electrical tape.

No - although you may have knocked loose/bridged on your LPT by accident when you were installing your JTAG wiring.

Well I've discovered something, Even if I have the elictrical tape and my LPT is plugged in I get an orange light that is untill I plugin my ROL board. So I'll continue the JTAG without the ROL because when the ROL is in and the LPT is dissconnected the PSU is fine and the LPT will never be connected when the machine is on so yeah. Oh and I have tried a spare ROL and same thing.

There's two things that cause this:
1. Wrong smc for the 360 (ie either smc not created correctly or wrong mobo type used).
2. Your JTAG wiring is bad.

You've got a Falcon? Then try this - remove your JTAG wiring with the transistors, and wire up the Aud_Clamp wiring just using switching diodes using the pre Aud_Clamp method. Now the SD that goes to the ROL/ROL points put that one on the new Aud_Clamp point and see if it boots this time. Reason I suggest this is because I think your JTAG wiring may be off, and this way it's easier to work out if it is.

Use Looouky's smc/Xellous. It doesn't matter which you unplug first ad/or immediately, just flash and unplug smile.gif

The only bridging is between points J2D2.4 and J2D2.7 - that sketch layout is correct, if you're installing to the bottom of the mobo - Blackaddr's shows the top of the board.

Anyways, when I tired to check the CB version from the first 2 MB it was around 8300 for some reason.
