Thanks for any responses and my apologies if this has been asked before. I found a topic asking about moddable xboxes on the first page, but he was asking about the Elite ones. I am concerned about the new ones.

No word yet, but it'll be on www.xbox-scene.com when the news hits of a mod for it.

I would say sometime within the next few years but nobody knows for sure. heck it may be never moddable but only time will tell.

Alright, thank you all. I decided to just get the new 360. Just bought it and I'll have to play my retail games on that and my downloaded ones on my old 360.

Now the wait begins for a crack. Hope it isn't long.
