Jtag: 5w 100 Ohm Do The Job?
« on: May 14, 2010, 05:27:00 PM »

Hi, I'm in Australia & parts are hard to find for jagging.

This is the closest find i could get from Australia:
Resistor 5 Watt 100 Ohm W/W
http://www.dse.com.au/cgi-bin/dse.storefro...duct/View/R1650

Just wondering if anyone could tell whether it would do the jtag? The tutorial I'm reading from says they used 1/2watt resistors.

Thanks.

5 Watts will anally rape your xbox. Look for something .5 watt or lower

1/8th is best for most small circuit things, but there pretty rare so 1/4th will work.
