Explain what you did more clearly...

If you physically took your hard drive and plugged it into another unbanned console your profile should be fine.

If you plug your HD into your banned Xbox the profiles will show up no problem but banned Xboxs are no longer able to digitally sign your profile or savegames so if you put it back into your unbanned console they will look corrupt. This can be fixed manually http://www.se7ensins...anned-xbox-360/

here is what i did.  after being banned i wanted to play on live on an unbanned xbox.  i removed my harddrive and recovered my gamertag on that xbox.  then the other day i applied the latest update to my banned xbox and then put the harddrive back on there to access my profile to see if it did uncripple my harddrive.  but when i go to access the profile it says it has been recovered on another xbox and then trys to log in to xbox live to sign into it but fails since i'm banned.

Hmm that is odd... from my experience it should have just worked. When you put your HD back into the unbanned xbox does your profile come up ok?

the profile comes up but it just says this profile has been recovered on another xbox, please copy or recover profile.  and since i can't access live i am unable to do this.  wonder if it's to late to jtag it.
