I have a banned xbox with dashboard 8507 and ixtreme, so obviously it cannot be jtag'd anymore.

I recently bought another xbox with dashboard 7XXX unbanned (so i can play online again).

Would it be possible if I transfer the keyvault from the unbanned xbox to the banned one, replace the dvd-rom with the dvd-rom from the new xbox and still be able to go on xbox live? Would I risk being banned again if I did that?

If that is possible, then I can jtag the new xbox and just use it offline.

However, i do not have the CPU key for the banned xbox as it was bought modded.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks!

No you cant since there is no way to get the CPU key from your banned console to decrypt the KV.

so i guess i am left with the choice of either going on live or going homebrew; unless i buy yet another xbox.

I would go homebrew. Or at least go homebrew then sell it for a nice profit and buy a brand new Jasper console for Live.

You should easily be able to sell a jtaged console for the price of a new one.
